TWITTER (Part Deux)
My current Twitter statistics. 21k tweets?! Daldal ko!
Of course what would Twitter be without your followers and the people you are following? Followers are the people who find your tweets interesting, or just following you back because you followed them. It doesn't necessarily mean na you have to know them (for instance, ang dami kong followers na dummy accounts lang), pero one thing stands true: the more followers, the more relevant you are.
And the "following" part of Twitter is the people who you find interesting, informative, witty and, sometimes, funny. I have a few because some of the people I used to follow just tweet random brain farts.
Allow me to mention some* people/accounts that I follow. My timeline (Twitter's equivalent of the Facebook News Feed) would not be complete without their tweets, really. Walang favoritism ha, I just like their tweets and how they tweet it.

1. The funnies: @krisaquinoSTD, @superstarMARIAN, @MARIANsuperstar
Seriously, you have to follow these three. No one gives great showbiz critiques than these ladies (?). Minsan bastos, madalas totoo, always funny.
2. The opinionated (and Jillian Ward-hating) friends/officemates: @mackyu21, @tonibangs, @matsuo_rie, @jp_balanon, @chiccosonofzeus
Meet my friends. Snarky and straight to the point when they tweet, mostly anything fabulous and gay. They all hate Jillian Ward by the way.
3. The kids-at-heart: @jaffurri, @thetallcuteguy, @devassi, @myronparinas and @jakeyow
When I talk to these guys I feel like talking to "bagets", then upon looking at their profiles, mga bagets pa nga sila. Haha!
4. The eternal optimist: @ayemGChua
Thank God G is always there to tweet something positive whenever you need it. He looks like a girl though. I thought he was a she. :)
5. The people who introduced and welcomed me to Twitter: @alexgozum, @jaysomexavier
These two are possibly the first people I tweeted with and who taught me about Twitter. One question still stands: did you two date?
6. The people who never fails to wish you a good day: @angelicdemigod, @frodobaui
The powercouple themselves (they're married thru a Wiccan ceremony) who are staunch supporters of gay relationships. And they always, ALWAYS greet you a good morning. :)
7. The gentlemen of Twitter: @ohjoen, @gerarddaduya, @imbongmicu, @iampaulcapili12, @stanleypalma, @yogi_olrac, @iPawee, @mjpatindol
Ang haaaaba ng hair ko kapag kinakausap ko. Why? Parang ang bait-bait nila kausap (pero pag iba, hindi na haha). I love talking to these nice guys on the site. I'm pretty sure they're nice guys in person too.
8. The news sources: @IGN, @PerezHilton, @Kotaku, @engadget, @scoopbox, @jiritajackson, @ANCalerts
9. The sources of sexy: @theRCtect, @ulybog
These two randomly post links on Twitter that I open and BOOM, picture ng lalaking sexy. And I'm enjoying it!
10. The international elite: @ilovemigzheart, @thenewjosel, @AmakiAlistair, @ruttgard
Kayo na ang nasa ibang bansa! Migz is in Rome, Josel is in NYC, Amaki is in Australia (and nakausap ko na at work!) and Ruttgard/Chris is in the Middle East. All proud Pinoys. Don't forget my pasalubong when you get back here!
These are just a few of the people that I enjoy tweeting with. Madami pa actually. Make sure to follow them. It's worth it. :)

TWITTER (Part Une)
My Twitter page viewed on my laptop
Before we start, please follow @TheLawAureus on Twitter.com. Haha!
Sometimes it's hard to say something in 140 characters or less, but not for seasoned Twitter users. Twitter.com is a microblogging/social networking site where you put your current thought in 140 characters or less. Parang status update sa Facebook, but more direct and precise. And much, much shorter .
Okay, you can cheat by "tweeting" on a site that makes your tweets longer (like twitlonger.com). Who am I kidding. You probably know what's there is to know about Twitter. Anyway, what I like about Twitter is that
1. It gives me the latest news that I need to know from the sources that I follow.
2. It is funny how you'll know what type of person he/she is on how he/she tweets. Well, it may give you a clue.
3. You get to meet new people who could be your friends eventually by being followed and following them back.
4. It is a good way to kill boredom!
5. Walang OnlineShop shit or people can't tag you on things that they're selling (like in Facebook).
6. It is almost killing SMS for me. Me and my friends talk here more than texting.
7. You can tweet nonsense and still, people will reply to you.
I can say that I am addicted. Well, almost. I access Twitter in three ways: on my Macbook Pro, the homepage is set to Twitter.com and I have the Twitter for Mac client; on the Galaxy Tab I use Tweetcaster for Android (I like the 'Zip It" function to mute people I don't like) and lastly, on my iPod Touch, Echofone for iOS.
Thank God for Twitter. Or thank you to that person who created Twitter.

DECISIONS, DECISIONS...
Our company's Christmas party is a month away and I need to decide my "look" for that night. It's that important because yun ang OSCARS ng company namin so everyone dresses up to the nines! But sadly not everyone looks great...
Anyway, I was kinda excited to learn that the initial theme/ attire would be LINGERIE! Of course marami ang nag-disagree or simply because the management fears that the event will be raided by the police, so the idea was canned. I was ready for it. Sayang. It's a risk worth taking.
I learned a few days ago that the theme was changed to Old Hollywood / Mafia attire. Yawn. So I had to narrow down a few looks that I am considering.
Look # 1: Ala MAD MEN. The '60s.
Meron nito sa Banana Republic LOL. Ala Donald Francis Draper/ Don Draper. Aminin, papable si Jon Hamm.
Pro: Mad Men fashion is neat, elegant, chic and easy to do.
Cons: Too safe. Tapos baka sabihin nagbe-benta ako ng insurance/encyclopedia. Plus I don't like the shoes.
Look # 2: James Dean in Rebel Without A Cause
I am SERIOUSLY thinking about going as James Dean in Rebel Without A Cause. His look here is iconic, and with that cigarette.. And a plain white shirt worn properly is sexxxy.
Pro: Super easy look.
Con: Wala akong hair like James Dean's.
Look # 3: Sean Connery's James Bond
Sean Connery is still the ultimate James Bond (I can hear complaints). The look is gasgas na and I'm sure a lot of guys are also considering this. As am I.
Pros: James Bond's look is classic. And I can buy his tux (or a similar one) at Topman, or have one custom made. :)
Con: A lot of people will have the James Bond look that night.
Look # 4: Al Pacino in Scarface
Gangster kung gangster si Al Pacino here. And with that huge gun, no one will cross me if I go to the party looking like him. He also exudes a 'Grand Theft Auto' vibe here so that's cool.
Pro: Sisigaw na lang ako ng "Say hello to my little friend" and complete na. Easy to do look too.
Con: Not everyone can pull off the flowered/printed shirt under a coat jacket look. You risk being called a D.O.M. or a pimp. And firearms not allowed daw at the venue.
Thoughts?

The best party our company could have ever seen. Plan CANCELLED.

GOOD MORNING!
PASKO NA, SINTA KO...
...sa Starbucks, at least.
The time for collecting stickers per drink purchase is here again. Isang sign na Christmas is coming. Coffee drinkers and social climbers (yung mga mahilig tumambay sa Starbucks para masabing sosyal) alike have been waited for this. There are 5 designs/covers to choose from, I could only remember Bamboo and Cherry, as the designs of the covers came from the barks of the trees they represent. Basta lima yun.
Also, these are the smallest planners Starbucks came up with. A planner also comes with a small pouch.
You have two options to get this. With Option one, you need to buy 9 Holiday drinks and 8 core drinks (bottled juice, water not included) = 17 stickers. Option two makes you drink 23 core drinks to get a planner.
I have two stickers pa lang. No rush. Pero some freaks got their planners na. Good luck, next year pa naman magagamit yan.
And lastly, their Cranberry White Chocolate Mocha Frappucino is divine. Tried it in decaf. Also their Toffee Nut Latte Frappucino is heaven as usual.
Sarap!

MYLO XYLOTO
The title is pronounced as mai-low zay-lee-toe.
This is Coldplay's fifth album which is currently on repeat in my iPod and iTunes. It has fourteen tracks, on the standard release.
Coldplay had made me a fan of theirs from their AMAZING Viva La Vida or Death and All of His Friends album (I always make it a point na kapag may videoke, I sing Viva La Vida or Lovers in Japan). Anyways, here are the tracks of the album:
No. | Title | Length |
---|---|---|
1. | "Mylo Xyloto" | 0:42 |
2. | "Hurts Like Heaven" | 4:02 |
3. | "Paradise" | 4:38 |
4. | "Charlie Brown" | 4:45 |
5. | "Us Against the World" | 4:00 |
6. | "M.M.I.X." | 0:48 |
7. | "Every Teardrop Is a Waterfall" | 4:01 |
8. | "Major Minus" | 3:30 |
9. | "U.F.O." | 2:18 |
10. | "Princess of China" (featuring Rihanna) | 3:58 |
11. | "Up in Flames" | 3:13 |
12. | "A Hopeful Transmission" | 0:33 |
13. | "Don't Let It Break Your Heart" | 3:54 |
14. | "Up with the Birds" | 3:46 |
Coldplay might have gone a bit too pop this time but trust me, it IS worth listening to. My current favorites among the songs are Hurts Like Heaven, Paradise, Princess of China and the lead single Every Teardrop Is A Waterfall.
Enjoy!
